Meeting up on MySpace in 2006 after KiNK discovered Neville had been playing his Same Old Thing track in his DJ sets the two bonded over a love of Chicago House, Detroit Techno, Disco and early Warp tracks (as well as watching 80’s pop starlet, Sabrina’s old videos on YouTube). The two set about an online collaboration that saw Holland’s Rush Hour imprint pick up their first release, Inside Out. Since that initial foray the two have gone on to release further tracks on Rush Hour as well as Poker Flat and Snuff Trax and remix, amongst others Mock & Toof, Snuff Crew, Donnacha Costello & DJ Sprinkles. These tracks have been played by everyone from Domenic & Harri to Marco Passarani and Ewan Pearson. Despite this workload the pair never actually met or even spoke on the phone until a rather nervous meeting in London in April 2010. Until then they communicated solely through Skype and sent their files to each other online. Fortunately they got along famously and that first meeting only served to motivate them to get back in their respective studios and start creating more music. The pair are now taking to the road to play live and dj. After a fine debut at Glasgow’s (in)famous Sub Club they will soon be hitting more legendary venues including Cookies in Berlin, Frankfurt’s Robert Johnson and Trouw in Amsterdam.
